Why Beds & Bikes?

Thank you for cycling!Thank you for helping mother Earth to reduce the carbon footprint!As part of our encouragement for people to go green and to go on exploring George Town on bikes, guests who check in with their own bicycle will enjoy a 10% discount on the pod rates for the entire stay. And on top of that, we are providing free and safe parking space inside our B&B for guest's bicycles.

No bikes?No worries

We have a series of foldable bikes, mountain bikes & classic bikes for rent. Bicycle rental is provided at normal rate to public, at the range of RM20-RM50 per day, depends on the type of bicycle(s).All Tofu in-house guests will enjoy 50% discount on ALL the bicycle rental.And that’s not the best yet, guest(s) who stay in for 3 nights or more in Tofu will be entitled with FREE Bicycle rental on a first come first serve basis.

About Tofu

The eco-friendly Tofu Café, Beds & Bikes is a cyclist-friendly guest house in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Georgetown, Penang.

Offering free Wi-Fi, it features three mini-libraries and a common room with games and a TV. Tofu Café, Beds & Bikes is a 3-10 minute walk from KOMTAR, Ferry and Weld Quay Bus Terminal. It is 25 minutes’ drive from Batu Ferringhi. Penang International Airport is a 30-minute drive away. Nearby attractions include Little India, Street Mural Wall Art, the Clan Jetties and Khoo Kongsi.

Air-conditioned pod-style dormitory rooms feature beds with individual reading lights, a fan and privacy curtains. Guests have access to shared bathrooms with hot showers. Free personal lockers are also available.

Bicycle rentals and bicycle tours, luggage storage, pantry and laundry facilities are available. Tofu Cafe offers daily breakfast. Local and Western dishes are also served on selected days.

Check-in Time: 15:00 - 20:00

Check out Time: 7:00 - 12:00

Earliest check in 1300; latest check in 20:00. Tofu crew reserves all rights not to receive any check in before 13:00 and/or after 20:00.

Children below 12 cannot be accommodated at the hostel. Children below 18 has to be accompanied by a parent.

We adore cute dogs/cats but sorry strictly no PETS could be accommodated, to prevent the potential allergy reaction on other guest(s).

This property only accepts cash payments (MYR). No credit card facilities in the house.

We observe non-smoking policy in the hostel interior area, however, there's a dedicated space outdoor at corridor for smoking.

The hostel is only open from 7am-1230am midnight. No exit/admittance after 1230am unless arranged in advanced.
